This year's West Coast Regional Meet will
be a joint venture between the Model Vehicles Unlimited club of the
Los Angeles area and the 1/87 Vehicle Club. The meet will be
held at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Culver City, California, on Saturday, February 17, 2001.
Activities will include a 1/87 vehicle swap meet, modeling clinics,
and model contests in a wide range of categories. As in the two previous
years, we anticipate several "featured guests" arriving from
Europe with models directly from the 2001 Nuremberg Toy Fair that will
be available at the meet. If you've never attended one of the Culver
City swap meets this is your prime opportunity! Sellers' table will
be $35.00 for pre-registrants and $40.00 the day of the show, subject
to availability. We recommend you reserve your table early as the available
space is limited. The meet is open to the general public ($3.00 general
admission) from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Sellers will admitted to setup
their tables at 10:00 A.M. Buyers can gain early admission (at 10:00
A.M.) for $10.00. For information concerning sellers' tables, contact
Bob Kelley at kellfam@prodigy.net.
For questions concerning the modeling contests, e-mail webmaster@1-87vehicles.org.
Watch our web site for updates on clinics and featured guests. 1/87
Vehicle Club members are invited to come by the club's table for
a free name badge to identify yourself to other club members attending.
