If you have any interest in participating by displaying models or Route87 dioramas at the show, we encourage you to register as soon as possible so we can make plans to include you and your models in our display area! September New Products

Walthers has released their previously announced pneumatic bulk trailer like the Glacier Industrial Sands example shown here. This model is from all new tooling and features a side mounted ladder; a great addition to the options available. Earlier this month, Brekina announced the imminent release of their Peterbilt four axle heavy duty tow truck previously showm at the 2025 Toy Fair in Nuremburg back in February. Also announced were the first batch of Kenworth W900 truck tractors, NYPD Chevrolet C30 tow truck, and Mack R in U.S. bicentennial colors. Photo Gallery 824 marks the return of one of our favorite modelers and all-around good guy, Joe Enriquez. His classic C&H Transportation Mack CL700L truck tractor and trailer are simply works of art! Joe utilized a Don Mills resin kit as the basis for his truck tractor and a heavily modified Lonestar Models plastic kit for the trailer. Who We Are, What We Do

The 1/87 Vehicle Club was established to promote the construction, use, and manufacture of prototypically accurate scale vehicle and equipment models specifically in 1/87 (HO) scale. 1/87 scale is most commonly referred to as "HO" scale because this is the scale of HO gauge model trains, by far the most popular scale for railroad modeling.

Our club assists in the exhibition, promotion, manufacturing, and production research of vehicles of all kinds in 1/87 (HO) scale. This web site and associated events are the place to meet and communicate with other people who are passionate about your hobby.

Our feature photo for Photo Gallery 823 shown here is a model of the classic '90s International 9700 cabover in Schneider National orange submitted by Marty Uhlig and is a collaboration with Brad Hassler. These trucks were ubiquitous in the 1990s and were nicknamed the "Great Pumpkin." Our highlight photo for Photo Gallery 822 is this great little model of a 1973 Ford F-250 tow truck from Peter De Alba. Peter created this model using an Atlas cab and chassis mated to a Trident light duty tow truck body. Our feature photo for Photo Gallery 821 is this spectacular model of a Caterpillar D9R in transport mode loaded on a railroad flatcar. Trevor Hinze created this model using his own CAD drawings of the prototype and created his own files for 3D printing all the parts of this model on his resin printer. Check Out Classic Mint Collectibles Archive Web Site

We continue to update the Classic Mint Collectibles web site as we uncover more photos, some never before published. This is another of the projects we've recently completed, an archival web site for Classic Mint Collectibles. In case you're a recent "convert" to 1/87 scale or have only recently discovered our web site, Classic Mint Collectibles produced some of the most exquisite museum quality brass models of HO scale Peterbilt trucks, Komatsu and John Deere mining and construction equipment, and Talbert lowboy and Heil pneumatic bulk trailers from 2003 through 2009. Having been involved in the research and development of these models we feel uniquely qualified to keep the brand at the forefront of any discussion regarding high quality models in 1/87 scale.
