We're extremely pleased to present the first public photos of the recently announced modern yard tractor from Athearn! This model was on display at the National Train Show in Hartford, Connecticut August 10-12, 2009. We are also very pleased that club member Rich Reinhart contributed to this project by providing all the research and photos for the model to Athearn and deserves our utmost gratitude. Thanks from all of us, Rich!

Some of the features of this new model we're aware of are:

• Modern flat roof cab
• Wire grab handles on driver side and back of cab
• Photo-etch steps and walkways
• Fifth wheel raises and lowers
• Prototypically correct rear heavy suspension
• Detailed interior
