The new Audi A6 was introduced to the world on February
16, 2004, at a gala event in Berlin (carried live on NTV). Just in
time for this world premiere, Busch completed the factory-authorized
1/87 scale model of the newest Audi.
Busch says the new Audi A6 is one of the most precise
automobile models they have ever manufactured, featuring superfine
tooling and super thin chrome-plated trim. The Busch A6 has a prototypically
accurate multi part interior; transparent headlights with realistic
optics, sporty 9-spoke wheels and a highly polished metallic lacquer
finish.
The first edition, produced exclusively for Audi, possesses
the following additional features: Interior and outside mirrors with
chrome-plated reflector surfaces, front and rear window frames printed
in black, silver printed backup lights on the taillights, Audi rings,
type designation and door handles. Topped off with chrome-plated exhaust
pipe tips. You will be able to see the 1:87 scale model as well as
the full-size version for the first time at the Audi display at the
Geneva automobile salon in March 2004. After the show, the model will
be available in four colors through Audi dealers in Germany.
The Audi A6 will join Busch’s regular product line,
probably as a CMD model, later this year. No general release date has
been set. [posted February 16, 2004] |
