This pickup started as a Matchbox D300 wrecker. As the same cab was
used by Dodge for all its trucks, just a quick removal of the running
boards and re-shaping the fender wells made it just right for the pickup.
Bill says, "Yes, I know the cap is too wide for the bed but so was
the real one. Note the "F"-hole windows in the tail gate."
The bed, rear fenders and the cap are scratchbuilt. And yes, according
to Bill, the real one had
blue
flames too.
