This 1985 Mack R model tri-axle self loading logging truck won the Logging category at the 2000 East Coast Meet. This model by Tony De Seta uses a Clay Alvey resin cab, two Herpa Mack sleeper frames spliced together for the chassis, modified Kibri log loader, and real wood for the load of logs. A-Line and Details West parts super detail this model. The real truck belongs to P. H. Glatfelter Paper Co., Spring Grove, Pennsylvania. Micro-Scale decals were used to hand make the cab door logos and letters cut out one at a time to duplicate the real truck's lettering scheme.
