Paul Backenstose built this Pennsylvania Railroad 1955 White 3000 truck tractor using a Classic Metal Works model and shortening the wheelbase, narrowing the front axle tread width, and adding Sheepscot mirrors. The trailer was scratchbuilt using styrene and door hinges and latch bars from a Grandt Line reefer detail parts set. The Pennsy lettering is from the Kitbits Division of Bethlehem Car Works.
