This is model of a 1934 Walter Snow Fighter by Chester Fesmire.
Chester admits he doesn't know much about the
prototype but as he was measuring and photographing it at a local truck
show an old timer remarked that it was the most difficult vehicle he
ever drove because of the unique shift pattern. Chester took a Wiking
Bussing
cab & chassis
and narrowed and shortened the hood and added the scratch built plow
apparatus to the front. The 'ballast box' on the back (also Wiking)
has a block of
concrete in it.
