Tom Dickey writes us, "What a difference a year makes! These
two trucks were ordered by Tom's fictional heavy hauling company one
year apart."
On the left is a 1966 Mack DM800, an Alloy Forms white metal cab mounted
on a Roco frame with modifications plus a plow frame and MV
lenses all
around. The 1965 B873 Mack on the right is a Don Mills resin kit cab
on a Roco chassis that was lengthened in the front and shortened in
the
rear.
It has
scratchbuilt rear deck, rear fenders made from Alloy Forms diamond
plate material, Denis Aust resin headache rack, Herpa off-road tires,
and a Roco winch. The B873 was shown in Photo
Gallery 141.
