Here's another view of Keith Belk's layout showcasing the Spokane
Pacific Lines/Consolidated Freightways freight yard. Keith assembled
this scene on his layout using models from Promotex, Athearn, Boley,
and Trident. The Spokane
Pacific
Lines
is a
take-off
on the
Spokane Pacific Line and they are still in business well into the 80s.
The CF green Freightliner and the CF Ford C tractor as well as all
of the CF trailers except one hidden are stock Athearn. The SPL trailer
decals were are all made by Keith or from Ken Goudy. The rest of the
decals are from various sets of A-Line and Microscale decals.
The tractors are generally from Promotex and Athearn. The Ford F-350
service truck is from Trident. The flatbed load is from Smokey Valley.
Some of the accessories like the air compressors and fire extinguishers
are from Greenway Products. The SPL provides TL, LTL, van, refrigerated
and flat as well as special purpose service. Their terminals are in
Spokane, Portland, Seattle and Missoula and they interline with CF.
