David Flynn sent us this photo of his very nifty 1976 Brockway 761L
5-7 yard dump truck. The
Forest Green with black fenders paint combination was typical Brockway,
especially for Upstate New
York villages. Red, cast six-spoke rims were somewhat common, and
David notes he like them better than if he had painted
them green. The cab is
from an Alloy Forms Mack DM800. The fenders, plow hoist, and body are
scratchbuilt from sheet
plastic. The frame, wheels, and plow lights are from Wiking. The brass
grille
is from a tandem steel wheel roller. David built the model around
1992.
