The truck is a Mack MR hazmat unit from the FDNY. It was completely scratchbuilt from evergreen styrene sheet except the wheels and small additional parts. The decals were easily made on the PC with the excellent SuperCal system. Markus found pictures of the original truck in Dirk Wieczorek´s book of the American fire engines.
