This model of a vintage 1907 Mack Manhattan takes its inspiration
from a photograph in the book, "Pictorial History of American Trucks". The
model was constructed from scratch in early 2002 using styrene, brass,
and scale lumber. It was painted by hand with thinned down Humbrol
enamels, and weathered with dry colors and chalk. The
wheels are modified Circus Craft wagon wheels and the driver is an
out of date metal figure by Scale Structures Limited.
