Here's a photo of a truck Fritz Dahlen bought on Ebay
and rebuilt as a 4x4 welding/service truck for his railroad. It
is a Lindberg Ford F-600 cab on what looks like a Roco military chassis.
Fritz scratchbuilt the interior, cut window glass from clear acetate
(interior and glass were missing), constructed a solid front axle tube,
added drive shafts, added wide front wheels and tires from Herpa,
rear wheels, tires and mirrors from A-Line and mud flaps from sheet
styrene. Decals from Microscale and Pen-Bay complete the job.
