Here's another look at the Roadway 48' Strick FRP from Bernie
Fahrner that started out as a Walthers Stoughton 48' trailer. The nose
and rear door section were cut off and the sides were sanded smooth.
The nose section was replaced with the nose from an A-Line Pines 28'
FRP pup to get the rounded corners. The door section was replaced with
the door from a RPP 28' Strick pup. The landing gear is a modified
A-Line Wabash gear. Decals used were from RPP and A-Line Roadway
and trailer data sets.
The trailer is shown with an out of the box Athearn Ford city tractor,
as this group of trailers has been relegated to mainly serving as P & D
units. Also shown in Photo
Gallery 167.
