Here is a Peterbilt heavy haul truck tractor and a low bed combination from Canadian modeler Mark Kulak. The truck is a Promotex frame that was painted blue with added low bed ramps, step boxes and mud flaps. Mark added Herpa float tires, wide load signs, light bar, light strips under the door, and headache rack. The trailer started as a Top Dog Models trailer that has been extensively modified. Mark lowered the jeep and trailer, added low profile tires, chrome wheels, lights, wide load signs, mud flaps etc. The jeep (piece between the truck and low bed) had to be modified so the neck was lower to the ground. He then built a set of ramps on it and a tower with the fifth wheel plate. Load is a Herpa Liebherr 954 excavator. Shown here on Mark's very crowded truck stop diorama.
