Here is Mark Kulak's orange Peterbilt 379 "Chicken Hauler" (trucker slang for a real fancy truck). It started out as a Promotex long frame that had the fenders cut off then painted orange. The truck was sanded to make decal application easier. The sleeper had the ridges sanded off as well as the rivets on the sides and back. Mark then added low profile tires to the truck. The rear fenders were taken off another Promotex frame then the tops were recovered in mylar. Mark also built the mud flap hangers out of I-beam that he cut the bottom off. Then the mud flaps were made with black electrical tape and mylar flap weights. The stacks were made with chromed round pieces of plastic sprue. He finished it off with Testors orange paint, chrome strips on the cab and sleeper, and "CANT DRIVE 55" on the back of the bunk. The trailer is a Promotex 48 foot spread axle van. The spread was lowered then had mud flap hangers added along with fenders that were sanded down and recovered with mylar. The sides were covered in mylar to represent a stainless steel trailer. Then headded a decal to the back door (same as the truck) and added two chrome strips on the back door also. Mark finished it off with two chrome reefer fuel tanks and an orange Thermo King reefer.
