Here's another look at one of what French modeler Daniel Vinay calls
his series of vehicles which are rare, bizarre or
seldom
produced
in 1/87 scale.
Shown above is a
model
based
on
the city car of Vietnamese designer Quasar Khanh, built in Great Britain
in 1968. The vehicle, constructed of glass panels framed in steel,
was equipped with an 1100cc BMC engine.
Following the fashion of the time, the seats were inflated plastic
cushions. The colors selected were also in the fad of the day. Daniel
notes, "As a young groom at the time, all my furniture was also
in this style!" Also shown in Photo
Gallery 184.
