Here's a close-up of the power unit from Ralf Grote's Consolidated Freightways Rocky Mountain Doubles rig shown in Photo Gallery 194. Ralf detailed the truck tractor with an air starter tank mounted upright behind the cab and the rear license plate is attatched to this tank like you see on many of the prototypes.
