This crane model was photographed by Bill Goddard on one of his visits to The Netherlands. According to information very graciously provided by Jan Scholten, editor-in-chief of the Dutch club magazine H0-MODELAUTO BERICHTEN, this must be the one built by Bert Modderman after the crane that was in use with the crane firm Lommerts, from Groningen (it is in the old colors of the firm, since this crane was in use from 1975 onwards). Jan featured the building of this crane in 1/87 scale in the special cranes issue of the magazine in 1995. The crane is a Link-Belt HC-218 mounted on a FAUN chassis.
