This model of a 1926 White Two-Ton Truck was built from scratch in
May of 2004 using styrene, brass, and scale lumber. The model was painted
with thinned down Humbrol enamels and weathered with dry pigments.
Wheels were custom made for the model using centers cut from Grandt
Line 43" cable sheaves, and plastic tubing for the rims and tires.
Inspiration for this model was found in a reprint of an out of print
book, "Handbook of Automobiles 1925-1926". The addition of
a windshield, MV headlight lenses, and a driver figure finish the model
nicely.
