In February this year Timonium City placed this new Haz Mat Unit into service. This model was completed using a Herpa beverage truck & trailer. The Herpa International truck cab was removed and a Boley Ferrera Inferno cab was mounted on the International tractor chassis. Sheet styrene (.030") was used to build the tractor compartment and running boards. The rear fenders from the Boley pumper chassis were cut out and used on the tractor chassis rear axle. Computer generated patches and lettering were used.
