Here's another look at Jim Groeneweg's Mack RD featuring a hollowed
out Ralph Ratcliffe resin cab mounted on a modified Athearn chassis
with twin steering axles with 72" spread axles both front and rear.
The Athearn front wheels were modified to super singles and Boley six
spoke rear wheels installed on the rear. A Herpa mixer drum with various
scratchbuilt parts and peices from the "spare parts box" comprise
the mixer drum and drive mechanism. The windshield is from Todd Terpstra
and water hose on the drum is copper wire. Testors grey for the drum
and custom mix green model paint with auto clear coat provides protection
for the cab. Also shown in Photo
Gallery 222.
