Here's another look at Wayne Calder's pair of hot rods
based on a HotWheels toy called "Tooned Shift Kicker". The
passenger area of vehicle allowed for both a truck and a car based Hot
Rod. The hot rod on the trailer has 22" wheels with lower profile
tires on the front. The engine is an Alloy Forms accessory and the radiator
is off the HotWheels piece. The induction system comes from one of the
Galoob Corvettes with the scoop off a small Racing Champions dragster.
The trailer is an Automobilia kit. The truck's hood and front fenders
are off Roco's Opel Blitz. The rear fenders were made from sheet styrene.
The rear wheels and tires are off a 1/64 Racing Champions toy and the
front ones come off a Matchbox Collectibles' Ford F-350. Also shown
in Photo Galleries 225 and
232.
