Here's another look at Richard Olson's ROCO (KoMo)
Zis 5 van wagon converted to a 1929 Dodge Brothers flatbed. Although
originally a model of a Russian truck, the body lines and grille shape
closely matched the Dodge truck with the exception of the small windows
beside the doors. The windows were added and the cabin was removed from
the rear, replaced with strip wood and styrene for the flatbed deck.
To resemble a restored truck for the ATHS, it was painted (by hand)
with Model Master acrylic gloss dark blue and gloss black with Bare
Metal Foil chrome grille. Also shown in Photo
Galleries 224, 225,
and 231.
