Wayne Calder built this Caterpillar 970G model using
the same process as Caterpillar on the real one. The CAT 966G and 970G
loaders share the same structure from the front wheels back. The Norscot
966G model was changed to the 970G by adding larger wheels and tires
and a larger bucket with longer arms. All these additions came off Ertl's
1/82 John Deere 744H (a plastic model).
