Jim Groeneweg built this sharp looking combination using an Edocar
die-cast Kenworth W900L truck tractor. Basically the truck sits on
the original frame modified by "trimming" off
the outer rail giving the correct chassis width and exposing the details!
The Kenworth eight bag air ride suspension was added as well as the
fifth wheel carrier. Fuel tanks are Jacobs Model resin tanks (with
steps removed) with Dennis
Aust
rear wheels and A-Line fronts, curved exhaust tips out of aluminum,
side extender rubbers added as well as the running lights on the cab/bunk
skirting and a bug deflector form clear styrene tinted blue! The top
of the hood and sleeper were "rounded" by filing to get rid
of the "square" look, turn signals added to the fenders,
air breather intake elbows were also shortened. Paint is 2005 Honda/Acura
blue pearl base/clear. Trailer is Walthers 48' TIP Rental.
