Ralph Ratcliffe's Power Wagon conversion features a pumper body
completely scratchbuilt using ABS plastic. All of the portable
equipment is scratchbuilt. The cab and fenders are pretty much stock,
except for the addition of the siren on the fender, the red beacon,
and the sprinkler nozzles on the front bumper. The frame was raised
slightly, about 3" in
full scale. The paint is House of Color urethane, and the decals are
microscale.
It's built to represent what Ralph says, "..we used to call 'round
here an "attack
pumper", or "Tac"." Another terrific addition to our
contest!
