It’s a busy day at the DJL aggregate plant. The lineup of trucks waiting to be loaded shows that the road construction season has started in Quebec. The Mack CL 8X4 is the latest addition to the DJL fleet. It’s fitted with a Lagacé style dump body and follows the classic Quebec 12 wheel configuration. As per Christophe Culis' usual practice, the frame is an extended Promotex as is the cab, modified to represent a late version of the CL. The dump body is also scratchbuilt. Decals are from Ricks Decals. The model is painted in the colors of DJL Construction Inc., based in Boucherville, Quebec. [www.djl.ca]
