Here's another of Gary Smith's Athearn Freightliner conversions. This set of Willig triples uses the Athearn "Ready to Roll" model, cab shortened to 63" BBC, frame to 117" WB, trailer kingpins moved back to 36", and A-Line Utility landing grear added. The third pup came from the Athearn Ford C Willig pup set and second dolly made up from RPP kit. Gary notes that Floquil Railbox yellow is dead-on match for Athearn's Willig yellow.
