Toward the end of January of 2007 Randy spent extra time building this special dump truck model completely from scratch. Just a few commercial elements were incorporated into the model. These included: Precision Scale's 22" brass brake wheel, Campbell's "N" scale wooden barrels for the gas tanks, Evergreen Hill's leaf spring castings, and Grandt Line's 43" cable sheaves. The centers of the cable sheaves were epoxied into slices of 3/8" plastic tubing to construct the wheels. Tires were fashioned from 3/8" plastic tubing stretched to fit the rims. Driver and passenger figures are by Preiser but repainted.
