The 1970 Chevrolet Blazer in the foreground started as a Malibu International/Reel Rides 1970 Chevrolet pickup and Richard converted it to a 4x4 Blazer. He removed about a scale foot from behind the doors and replaced the roof which was scratchbuilt from Evergreen styrene. The upper trim was removed and the vehicle rides on a 'lifted' chassis with Roco wheels and tires. The interior seat was modified into bucket seats and a new rear seat added (from a Malibu VW Bus).
