Randy Sawyer sent us this photo of a really nice 1924 Autocar Stake Truck that he scratchbuilt in August of 2007. The model in 1/87 scale follows an illustration found in the book, "American Truck Spotters Guide 1920-1970". For the model, Randy modified some Jordan Packard wheels by cutting off the original tires and making up balloon tires from 7/16" Plastruct tubing. The driver and passenger figures are custom painted Preiser figures.
