Like all Sterlings of the era, this truck has an oak lined frame. It is a 38,000 pound GVW and like most Sterlings at that time, equipped with chain drive. Rarely were they four wheel drive like this one. The state of Massachusetts owned 3 or 4 of these trucks. The prototype David Ramsden measured to model plowed the Mohawk Trail. The V-blade measures 9 feet to the tips and a 9 foot high-lift wing blade. The truck is mostly scratchbuilt of styrene. The wheels and axles are Sheepscot reworked with rubber tires and headlights and reworked decals on hood.
