Jim Groeneweg built this Freightliner Argosy using an Andre Giroux cab/interior casting, Promotex Freightliner COE chassis with 60" axle spacing, Dennis Aust wheels/tires, Kibri deck plate,air breather, half rear fenders and windshield from M.A.N. (modified to fit), sleeper windows are Humbrol Clearfix then tinted from inside, and cab side windows are clear acetate flush mounted. Scratchbuilt items include air breather tube, exhaust mount and stacks, grab handles, mirrors, CB antenna and mudflaps. The model is finished in all R-M BASF black, Viper red, Aztec gold, Atlas white topped with urethane clearcoat.
