This very nifty 1/87 scale Detroit Diesel 6-71 engine is a preproduction sample of Masterbilt Models' upcoming offering painted by Ralph Ratcliffe. The 6-71 (six cylinders, 71 cubic inches per cylinder) was a two stroke diesel engine with a very long production life and used in all kinds of stationary, highway, marine, and off-road applications.
