Jussi Kivi built this Opel Blitz fire truck from 1940s. His idea was to make a "homebuilt" fire engine from from the postwar era, late 1940s. In those days there was lack of everything in his homeland (Finland). Many small fire departments built fire trucks on used, second-hand chassis. The design in those home build rigs where often quite odd or at least original. The model was originally German military vehicle from WWII by ADP-modelle and it's a resin kit. Jussi did some additional detailing: siren, blue warning light, floodlights, and ladders. And of course, red paint.
