Denis Doucet did an incredible amount of rework and modification to a Classic COnstruction Models brass American 9310 crane model. Denis lowered the crane upper section by milling down the car body turntable, moved the center pin of the house forward by a scale 3 feet, built a new gantry and a new outer bail with bigger sheaves in it. He also made a new jib attachment to the boom head, added bigger idler sheaves in the head, replaced the all sheaves on the boom head with 33" ones (six of them), made some new boom stops with the right lugs to attach them on the boom butt, added some lugs for the jib back-stay pendants at the bottom of the 50 feet insert like the real one, built a spreader bar for the jib pendants on the jib, added two equalizer sheaves on the mast, made new pendants lugs on the jib head end and on the front of the upper Denis made new boom foot lugs along with more details like the front panel. On the tracks Denis corrected the toe-in and correcting the rocking; now both tracks are straight and have the right tension also.
