Dennis Raper captured this Athearn Kenworth W900 converted from a concrete mixer pulling a Norscot lowboy confronting a deer crossing its path. Both truck tractor and trailer were painted with Testors paints. The truck tractor has an Alloy Forms modified headache rack. The lowboy's "planks" have been weathered and the mudflaps replaced with some thinner ones made from paper. The small diorama (8"x24") was built on an oak board, with scratchbuilt trees, real rocks, and Woodland Scenics providing the greenery, snow, and the buck deer. The photos were taken outside with the remaining snow from the surprise "White Christmas" in Alabama as a backdrop.
