Peter Rosa and his wife Joyce Taylor-Rosa model and own the J. L. Taylor & Rosa Bros. Circus in 1/87th scale. Truck tractors are purchased, but as with the real circus industry, the majority of trailers have been scratchbuilt to serve the needs of the circus. Like the real circus that Peter and Joyce toured with, Clyde Beatty Cole Bros. Circus, they present their show in two phases: (1) The winter quarters where circuses go during the three months when the show is off the road fabricating new equipment, painting the show for the next season, and maintaining the trucks, and (2) presenting the show at libraries, circus model builder shows, and fairs in the Sarasota County (Florida) area.
