Fred Gruin submitted this Jack Gray Transport rig built using an Athearn stock Ford F-850 with the frame cut down to a single axle configuration. The fenders, air horn, turn signals, and wet kit are from the parts box. An Alloy Forms tri-axle dump trailer with a two position (up or down) spread axle and A-Line wheels. Fred added a tongue to the trailer to resemble the Ravens trailers pulled by these tractors, a small fleet of which belonged to a broker who operated out of Jack Gray's Toledo, OH terminal in the late '60s. The sign on the tractor door is from a photograph Fred took of an actual sign in his possession that he took to his local UPS Store and had reduced on their color copier to the size needed for the model's doors.
