Here's some additional detail shots of Jim Groeneweg's classic GMC Crackerbox built pretty much stock from a Sylvan Scale Models resin kit. Jim added the tilting cab feature to the cab to show off that spectacular little Detroit Diesel 6-71 engine. Jim scratchbuilt the mirrors, wipers, grab handles, air breather tube, quarter fenders, and mud flap brackets. The battery box and fuel tanks are from Athearn as well as the spoke wheels and tires with a Dennis Aust air breather added on to the very nice Sylvan base model.
