Here's another of Rick Hoskinson's outstanding World War II military models produced by combining two Roco models; the chassis from a Mk lV battle tank and upper fighting compartment of a Sturmgeschutz lll. Rick widened the fighting compartment to fit the chassis with scratchbuilt pig's head gun mantle, used a Pak40 gun barrel from Preiser, scratchbuilt road wheel stow bin, commanders cupola and hatch, drivers compartment, and machine gun shield. The tow cable was made from fine strand copper wire and the tracks reformed to create a little "sag". Painted with Modelmasters enamel and weathered with pastel chalks, dry pigments and art pencils. Finished with TL decals.
