Here's more photos of Kevin Shanahan's models he built to represent a company that hauls heavy pipe sections to construction sites. The truck tractors are custom painted brass four axle Peterbilt 379s from Classic Mint Collectibles. The trailers are extensively kitbashed Herpa single drop deck three axle trailers equipped with Herpa/Kibri knuckle boom cranes for self-unloading. The trailers have Lonestar Models wood decks and have been fitted with outriggers for stability when unloading the pipe. The low profile wheels and tires are from Dennis Aust, decals are Microscale and A-Line, and the license plates are from Howard's Hobbies. The pipe sections are from Tichy. The Komatsu PC400 LC-7 excavator shown in the background is also a brass model from Classic Mint Collectibles. Previously featured in Photo Galleries 517 & 519 .
