For this truck tractor E. Oswald Strohmei started with an Athearn Kenworth W900 that he cut the chassis behind the cab and lengthened with the rear section of a Promotex chassis. A shortened stake body from an Athearn Ford C-Series was added as a dromedary stake bed. The fuel tanks and wheels on the tractor came with the Promotex chassis. The photo-etched rear view mirrors are from A-Line.

The trailer was made by cutting down a Herpa 40 ft. van trailer and applying styrene strips as exterior posts. Without the roof some holes (for chassis clips etc.) in the trailer's floor became visible. They had to be covered by inserting a complete new floor made from styrene sheet.
