Promoting Excellence in HO Scale Vehicle Modeling

CDF Fire Crew Deployment - By Ian Cooperstein

Here's more of Ian Cooperstein's CDF Fire Service trucks posed on the Route87 module he built with Jesse Weigand. The photos feature a dozer transport lowboy built using a cab from Boley with a Dennis Aust headache rack installed with chains hanging as well as a Dennis Aust frame mounted toolbox. Custom air lines, antennas, and mirror strobes were installed. The lowboy trailer is a a GHQ Models pewter kit custom painted with custom "Oversize Load" sign and corner strobes installed on the rear of the trailer. The First Gear International bulldozer is chained down with scale chain and has clearance flags installed on the blade ends to warn traffic of the wide blade. Also shown is a Boley stake truck that has been modified by removing some of the sides to accommodate River Point Station toolboxes with custom yellow strobes on the rear corners. Also installed is a vintage Roco service crane and a Roco fuel tank with custom placard decals. The model is finished with custom antennas and A-Line mudflaps under the stake body.
