At first glance this model might look like an absurdly extravagant exercise in extending the hood of a Kenworth W900 truck tractor. Sadly, it's based on a prototype (shown at bottom)! Catherine's model started as a Promotex model and lots of Evergreen styrene. This model is based on a real truck see on "Hank's trucks pictures"; a1972 Kenworth W900 driven by owner/operator Edwin John of Cherry Tree, Pennsylvania.
