Here's one more photo of Bob Sundstrom's ICX GMC "Crackerbox" truck and trailer combination; here we feature only the truck portion. We'll let Bob explain the details:
"One of the pride and joys of my ICX fleet is the Sylvan GMC “cracker box” mounted on an extended and modified Athearn tandem axle frame. The rigid box is the rear portion of a Walthers Flexi-Van cut down to 20-feet with an early Sylvan reefer unit installed on a nose made of styrene sheet. The second trailer is a 24-foot scratchbuilt creation. Cab decals are from Ed O’Keefe, others from the computer on photographic paper. I doubt that ICX ever used this configuration but it was fun to build."
