John Ross scratchbuilt this oilfield cement trailer. This unit is used in the drilling process before the development stage. As a well is drilled it is cemented to prevent all those things the horror stories are about. By mandate not only are wells cemented but they are also cased with steel down past any water levels. They are lined with concrete to the very end of the drill, even when horizontal drilling. The cement trailer only has a small engine to load the tanks. The drilling rig pulls the cement from the tanks and pumps it down the drill hole. The Peterbilt 367 truck tractor is from Trucks N' Stuff. On display at the 2014 East Coast Meet in W. Springfield, MA.
