Dennis Raper recently finished this Ford F-350 4WD dually that he removed the bed from and built a flatbed with cab guard for. The F-350 is, of course, the excellent River Point Station model. The bed was built from Plano Model Products brass tread plate and Evergreen styrene. Dennis added a little "junk" on the bed; A-Line chain, Plano brass screen, and a length of PVC piping. He gave the truck a 3" lift to give it a more correct stance for a 4WD 1-ton truck. The equipment trailer was scratchbuilt from Evergreen Plastruct styrene. It has chain eyes, hand jack on the tongue, access panel for the brakes and axles, and loose loading ramps. The Cat 272C skid steer is from Norscot and the only modification to it was the removal of the bottom plate because the plate was so thick that it gave the machine virtually no ground clearance. All three pieces have been weathered to varying degrees with Bragdon and AIM weathering powders.
